2 Haikus—Blue Note Haiku and Opium Warriors
Blue Note Haiku
straight scotch on the rocks
she loves me, she loves me not
tears a wet napkin
Opium Warriors
crazy Chinese ride
the F- Line practice kung fu
on the empty seats

God if I could “do” haiku like this. Brilliant. I won’t be a stranger. I’m still here. Laughing because you replied to me while I was still wandering your halls over here. Blue Note Haiku is beautiful and sad…but sad can be beatiful.

thanks–I typically add titles to mine–like them better that way. a few rules broken seems to make them better. On in here there are street haikus which I guess Blue Note would fall

I’ve always thought a man’s drink says a lot about who he is… and scotch on the rocks? That’s the Steve McQueen of drinks… I loved the contrast between such a masculine drink and the vulnerability of the last line.
